My name is Mera Pixel and I entered Second Life on January 31, 2006. I realized pretty quickly that Second Life and I were going to be getting along just fine. I found the world plays to my strengths in ability to build, script, and even come out of my shell and interact with others. Go figure.

I've found myself to be quite interested in volunteering. In fact, I prefer helping out anywhere and everywhere I can. I became an official SL Volunteer and Instructor in early March. Lately I tend to focus more on smaller, more distinct projects. If you find me, feel free to ask anything. I'm always available to help.

Check my schedule on the side bar. I teach Basic Building and Basic Scripting classes weekly. I'm also the Thursday host of Building Shelter. Come out and watch or play. It's a blast.

I've recently taken the notion of coming out of my shell on a broader scale. Don't ask me why, it's a long story. But I have an appreciation for these sorts of things and thought it'd be fun to try it out in SL. This is the beginning of a broader plan. We'll see if it comes to fruition.
